Volunteers needed for Railroad Days, October 4 & 5

Our best fundraising event of the year is approaching!

Our annual book sale during Railroad Days is Saturday, October 4, and Sunday, October 5.

We need volunteers to help sell books. We have sign up times for working available on both days from 10 to 12, 12 to 2:30, and 2:30 to 5. We can also use help setting up on Saturday and breaking down the site on Sunday. Please sign up and help us make this a profitable event for the library!

By all indications, our book sale at this year’s Railroad Days was a resounding success. We had a good, steady stream of customers on both days (the weather helped) and may have had our most successful book sale ever.

Railroad Days is a scant eight days away!

We’ll be there, of course, for our annual book sale. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year.

Look for us by the railroad tracks behind the American Legion.

Volunteers needed for two April events

Calling all Friends of the Brunswick Library,

April is a busy month at our library. Not only is National Library Week April 14-20, but also the second anniversary of the opening of our new library building.

The Friends are asking for help on two different dates:

Monday, April 1^st, starting at 10 am, The Friends of the Library are asking for help with weeding the planting beds in front of the library and around the parking area. (Rain date: Thursday, April 4^th at 10 am.) Please bring gloves and a small garden trowel if you have one.

Tuesday, April 16^th, from 4 pm to 6 pm, Robin Goetz would like help with a children’s program. Robin has planned an outdoor planting activity for the children and needs a couple extra hands to ensure everything runs smoothly.
