Donate books

One of our biggest fundraising events is our used book sale at Brunswick Railroad Days. As such, we collect books throughout the year to sell at our book sale.

If you have books, CDs, DVDs, or Blu-Ray disks that you would like to donate and are in good, sellable condition, you can bring them to the library during normal operating hours and let the staff know you are dropping off a donation for the Friends of the Library, and they’ll hold it for us.

If you have more than one box to donate, or you can’t make it to the library when it’s open, contact us at folbrunswick@gmail.com and we’ll make arrangements to come to you to pick them up.

Donate money

The Friends of the Brunswick Library, Inc. is a Section 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Your cash donation is fully tax deductible.

If you’re an Amazon customer, you can donate money to the Friends of the Brunswick Library while you shop. Instead of going to www.amazon.com, go to smile.amazon.com and designate the Friends of the Brunswick Library as your supported charity. Then, a portion of Amazon’s profits from whatever you buy will go directly to us.

Donate items

Our other big fundraiser is Not Quite Burns Night. Specifically, the silent online auction that accompanies the event.

If you are an artisan or craftsperson from the Brunswick area, or a business owner, and would like to donate some of your handiwork or a coupon or other incentive for your business, please email us at folbrunswick@gmail.com and let us know.
